- The Star Sea is a reoccurring suit also found in other NikkiUP2U games, including Love Nikki.
- Love Nikki later released a new version of the suit, Star Sea Memory based on the Shining Nikki version, including its recolored version (Star Dream) under the name Starry Sea Bond.
- The "Steal the Star" event acted as a prequel to Love Nikki's Phantom Thief Family and Sofia's ancestor. The first significant events of LN's chapter lore involved Star Sea.
