Stylist (also known as the player) is the player character and one of Nikki's primary companions on her journey in Shining Nikki.

Level

Each stylist has a personal level that can be increased by gaining EXP. Increasing the player's level will raise the amount of friends they can keep, as well as their stamina cap. Increases in level may also give the player a stamina bonus.

Profile

The player's presence in Miraland is tied to Nikki, as noted in the Seaside Holiday event. Thus, they have a limited view and exploration of Miraland due to it being heavily influenced by Nikki's journey.

Appearance

The player is implied to have a corporeal form in-game, as conversations between Nikki and the player in Nikki's home may reference details such as the player aiding Nikki in washing the dishes and the potential ability to be injured.

The player also retains their own personal inventory, storing various items that can be used along with their gathered currencies and other valuables. Nikki may gift the player Mementos on occasion, further signifying the player's physical presence within the in-game world.

The memories of Lilith: Bunny Moon indicate that the player has a physical home in Miraland, separate from Nikki's own home.

Personality

The player has limited input on Nikki's story, with few interactions given in the main storyline and extra gameplay allowed in Nikki's Home and in Moments.

Much of their personal info can be given by the player through dialogue options when Nikki questions them about certain topics in Nikki's Home mode. This includes:

• Their gender
• Their birthday
• Their occupation
• Their preferred clothing style / colors
• Whether they prefer dogs or cats, dislike animals, or like other types of animals.

Nikki will retain various details about the player and may comment about it in other sections of the game, including the Main Menu screen. It may affect which Mementos they receive from Nikki, but will not otherwise factor heavily into core gameplay.

According to a post on Moments, the player has a nail salon of their own. This detail can be mentioned well before the update including the Nail Salon feature.

History

The player may occasionally detail their own history to Nikki during their conversations.
